The English Language Teaching (ELT) Program within the Department of Foreign Language Education, Muş Alparslan University, started admitting undergraduate students in 2019, and currently has 188 registered students. Every year, the program admits 50 new students.
The ELT program includes a compulsory English preparation class for a year, followed by 66 compulsory and elective undergraduate courses. With four years of training following the prep class, our graduates are expected to have advanced English language proficiency and become English language teachers who are competent in their profession.
The ELT program currently has a total of six academics including four assistant professors, one lecturer and one research assistant.
